Great show, used to watch it with my grandpa. He always knew ALL the answers and I always begged him to go to win a fortune for us. Considering that we were in Slovakia, we could easily beat Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire with the story. Shame.. but the show was AMAZING. Even the host - who I jokingly called Nicotine, because his name was Nikodym (I was under 12 don’t judge my comedy skills) - did his work exceptionally well. To this day I remember the cliffhangers he lead us through. 9/10, deducting one point cause I still haven’t figured out if it was all staged or real and I think 13 years of confusion was more than I can brush off. But it’s not tragic enough to give 4/5 stars.
