Interesting premise and well executed by M Night. The drama unfolds at just about the right speed and kept me engaged throughout. The moral dilemma posed is engaging but it seems to wrap up just a bit too conveniently near the end—I would have liked to have seen a bit more transformation unfold with the most skeptical character. This isn’t an artistic masterpiece that would come from a Fellini, Resnais, or Coppola, but it is an interesting and thoughtful film that is one of M Night’s better-crafted recent films.
