I very quickly started unconsciously reading the book like I was just a spectator in Christopher's mind if that makes sense? Anyhow that meant I personally was able to get through the overextended parts and unlikeable characters (Didn't feel any strong emotions towards any of them haha). I agree that Christopher is a very stereotypical representation of ASD, but some parts were pretty well written (like descriptions of what meltdowns/shutdowns feels like for him). In terms of the plot progression and overall readability... I'll let you refer to the other reviews.
