I could NOT stop reading this and ended up reading it in less than a day. Absolutely amazing. Such an easy read to get lost in, it reads from a very casual voice, and I loved that. 100/10. The grief the protagonist feels, the way he discusses it, his interaction with others, it’s so well done. There are parts that even had me saying “omg this is me and my partner”. For the early part of the book, it felt like something I would write as if I was talking to my partner, and it kept me turning the pages.
