I’m honestly quite baffled that the show is still quite regressive and that’s still an understatement. Why on earth do we show the women to look like they are weak. Honestly someone making a decision to marry a sick pervert to save a house? Are you serious? And then the family talking about being close and still not having any communication? I get that may be all families don’t end up discussing everything, but the fact that they are talking down to their daughter and each one of them is overacting in every scene is really getting annoying. Why can’t they show reel people making decisions like real people? I’m so disappointed.
