Firstly, Nayanthara has stepped up to her 75th film, seems overwhelmingly happy. Even our blockbuster heros starring in Leo, are seemingly far to reach this achievement. With break in career and so many struggles in her journey, this lady had the strong grit to withstand it all.
There are so many opinions about the portrayal of Brahmin-girl eating meat & influence of Muslim-Hindu love here.
After watching the movie, I just felt this:
We complicate this human existence with so many labels and segregate ourselves.
Nayan clearly explains, that she wishes to explore the length and breadth of her career choice & not just try to be wade along with a dream of becoming of chef. Here she starts to eat meat just like any other dish.
Secondly, recall every muslim friend we had in school and college. They were all such real and friendly people always. We all have a common belief, muslim guys are highly religion centric and never accept the other caste. But having a friend so appreciative of the Hindu culture, feels so touching and fearless of the society itself.
What a subtle and kinder way to connect the society beyond all the labels. That is the complete essence of the movie.!
Seeing other reviews stating they influence Hindu-Muslim marriage in the movie.... I just have one self- realisation to compile it all.
When her dad asks "Is she in love with Farhan? "(Jai in movie)
Nayan's reply says it all....
I bet every girl watching the movie, if you ever had a caring and supportive guy, as friend in your life, your answer will surely relate to this moment.
And that's the part I want you people to answer watching the movie. Stay curious..!!
