A bit disappointing. First hour I almost fell asleep….and I never do that in at a movie! O’Hara, Ryder & Ortega carry most of the movie and are in nearly every scene. I looked forward to seeing Michael Keaton again, but he is barely in the first half of the movie. At the end, I left the theater feeling very disappointed and “cheated”.

Except for Jennifer Connelly, who seemed detached and just reciting her lines, Top Gun Maverick is every bit as good as the original. Thanks to modern aircraft technology it may have even surpassed the original. Had me hold my breath with heart pounding “air action” scenes.
