This movie is a fine example of why people are so segregated. Beginning with the word Maestro, which takes away the total excellence of the other people performing and regales the white front male in this case Bernstein.
The performances were lack luster, it seems they gave roles to people just because they were Jewish ( Sarah Silverman) and had little acting ability. Well this story is so over acted it hurt my senses, maybe a little more story and less glorifying the era. This was the era when most people were being denied their proper places.
