1) I think the Elvis actor was an excellent choice and he did VERY well. 2) The name of the movie should have been called “Colonel Parker” instead of “Elvis”. It was way too much about him. 3) Tom Hanks performance (of Colonel Parker) quickly becomes very annoying and does more damage to the movie than good. 4) Bad choice of actor to play Colonel Parker. Not saying Tom Hanks is a bad actor. It was just the wrong choice. I think It would have been more realistic and enjoyable to watch if they would have simply used an actual fat, bald actor that looked like Colonel Parker. 5) I briefly fell asleep 3 times. I don’t think I missed anything. 6) I felt like there should have been more of Priscilla and Lisa Marie. Overall I really didn't care for it however I did like some of the performances especially the end of the XMAS show with the big red letters of ELVIS behind him. The Elvis actor was the best part.

If I was watching on DVD I would have turned it off less than halfway in. I thought it sucked. I agree with someone else, “if you enjoy kids talking worse than truck drivers then this movie is for you”.
