I’ve been playing Final Fantasy games for decades and I just can’t like this game. Good points: 1. Beautiful graphics 2. Beautiful fighting scenes 3. Beautiful soundtrack 4. Pretty easy to play so those new to final fantasy can enjoy! 5. The post credit scene made up for some of the negative points in the story. Bad points: 1. THE. ENDING. PERIOD!!! That ending was just absolutely awful. It seemed grossly unnecessary and not meaningful. You have to go on a side quest in order to understand the ending which is ridiculous. Even then, I literally threw my controller and anything else I could get my hands on at the screen. It was UNNECESSARY! I won’t get into details but it was just awful. 15’s ending made sense, this one was just ridiculous! The ending alone makes me want to burn my copy. I’m not kidding. 2. I could barely see half the time. I had my brightness setting on my tv and the game on the highest setting and still had trouble seeing. You need to play this game in total darkness otherwise it will be difficult to see anything. I get what the developers tried to do, I really do, but I am TIRED of this “Chosen One” mentality of “let’s make the protagonist OP and have the worst life of all time and then reward him in the worst possible way”. Stop this, seriously!
