'Darpanam' i will be critical,The movie is awesome, not for kids but its for those who have wits and perception of whats going on in our society. Good to see a sad ending, close to reality movie in Telugu only Tamil industry was known to do it. pros: symbolism, philosophy, acting(especially Ravi Varma's Bengali ) ,bgm kind of nordic vikingish I loved it. First song was great ,lyrics wise. Mr Deva Katta did not hold back it was no holds barred. cons: 1. The person gets selected into IAS and without training gets a posting.And he apparently knows how to handle a gun evident from his first raid. If you neglect this and some other minor issues , 2.the philosophy is deep and might be hard to follow for majority where Jai Bheem is a good example of a movie precise screenplay and you don't feel left behind though the movie is set in 1980's back drop, Republic falls short in engaging audience throughout the movie. Finally, if you are a person who is looking for entertainment and if you are with kids don't watch it, Otherwise a must watch for those who wants to participate and have a stake in Democracy.
