The Lonnie character is charismatic. The movie is "based on" a true story and is touching at times, funny and there are a couple love stories included in the plot. There were a couple goofs I noticed and about an hour and fifteen minutes in I almost dozed off. I'd say it's a good movie - not great but enjoyable and worth watching. The world needs this movie right now. Btw I watched with about 20 others on a Sunday matinee and they clapped at the end. I give it 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.
