Having studied a bit of film history and photography, and developed a passionate preference for black and white film, etc this is a gem and I concur with the other commentator: every frame is framable , a work of art. The drama, suspense is like it used to be, subtle, understated, and commands your attention without telling you where it’s going but desperately wanting to be there, to follow to the last breath. Bellis8mo!what a breath of fresh air amongst the mountain of garbage, replication, lack of creativity, individuality, humanity…oh I could go on. What misery we wallow I ! Overstated violence, so called romance, virtual colour to ad nauseum! Where is the cinema and the filmic quality and integrity! Amen! But thank goodness for this little gem!
