This is not my typical type of movie. If something says “horror” I immediately scroll past (plus “paranormal”), but figured because it was daytime and the movie was quite short, I would give it a go. I really liked this movie. It was quite simple, which a lot of people are complaining about, but that’s kind of why I liked it. There was no drawn out back story and blah blah blah. It was jump two feet in, boom boom boom, the end. A movie doesn’t have to have to be 2.5 hours long with endless details to be entertaining. Most often they are less entertaining because it’s pointless, like it would have been in this movie. I definitely recommend. I actually don’t have anything negative to say about it (except for the father character). And the acting of the little girl was SUPERB. Highly recommend.

This movie is like a handful of actors needed to pay for their kids braces or college or overdue child support or delinquent taxes so they did this painfully sh*tty movie to cover the bills. I don’t understand how movies like this get made. When every 5 minutes you’re like “why wouldn’t he just do this instead”? Like aren’t there professional people who read the script to make sure it at least makes a tiny bit of sense???? The only reason I gave it one star is Mark Wahlberg is hot 😆

I watched Presumed Innocent (fantastic - highly recommend!) before this and maybe that’s why this showed seemed so incredibly awful. The acting was embarrassing. It was actually all embarrassing and painful to watch.
