I can always get behind a good, cheesy cringy movie like this (I loved she’s all that, freaky friday, mean girls, etc) but for me a lot of the acting really could be better.. as far as delivering the line and making it believable. I kept being reminded I’m watching a movie. Like with most of the story it felt diluted and maybe rushed? Not taken as seriously as it could have been? I can’t quite put my finger on it. I still liked the movie, it just didn’t meet my expectations by a long shot.
