Deeply descriptive of Moscow during Stalin’s post revolution. It wasn’t as captivating for me and I struggled through some of the detailed history in the first 30%. Enjoyed the persona of the Count and appreciated the sub-stories with Nina, Mishka, Anna and Sofia as well as the ‘Triumvirate’.
