Some really great ideas and good logistical detail, some good research and some of the scenes show real promise, however they all fall flat as it becomes apparent that it is not a space story. It is a character detail story where focus is on the characters and emotions. The bit that I finally lost patience and stopped reading was when the spaceship arrived in orbit around Lumera. There a huge jump and leap of faith by the author, passengers just arrive on the new planet. No detail, no description no nothing. Really disappointing read and would not recommend
