Griffin's story is not perfect. There were times while reading this I found myself getting mad at him or Jackson, even Theo. Then again, these characters are human, I shouldn't expect them to be perfect especially with such strong emotions as grief and love thrown in the mix.
This book hit me especially hard as I'm also in the process of grieving my childhood friend. There's things I've wanted to say but held back, but this book encompasses almost everything I've been feeling and just makes me feel a little less alone.
Adam Silvera is perfect at encompassing a bittersweet love story, and I can see myself definitely giving this another read in the future.
