I really wanted to like this movie because it had such wonderful reviews. And I love historical, time. Stories and movies. Just like many people, I find World War II interesting and thought this movie would give me a different perspective of what it was like on the German side. But the story literally gives no growth to the characters, I kept waiting for it to reach some type of climax or a point of it all. It is excruciatingly slow and I find myself looking up on the Internet to try to find out what the point of the movie is… Even as I’m still watching the movie. I’m sorry I didn’t like this movie, I really tried. But it’s terrible.
