While Multiverse of madness does a lot right, if you don’t like Sam Rami’s style you will not like this film. Personally I can take it or leave it, this film had the opportunity to do a lot of the MCU but instead it went for the simpler choice, I don’t hate it but I don’t love it either. The performances and vfx are fantastic though, the biggest let down for me is a significant use of Rami comedy. Think Spider-Man “pizza time” and you have the comedic chops of this film. Which was the first time I ever audibly groaned in a mcu film. Had this gone to a different director and had put more stakes into the mcu then it would have been great but currently it’s just good.
