This is very hard to read, in that every chapter was a revelation of evil so profound that it made me want to puke. You could never look at Cold War America the same way again after reading this. If you value truth, Bite the bullet and read this.

Aimed at an adolescent audience, this series exploits the well-worn ground of Gothic adventure, with ample clichés and only mild surprises. But the young cast is very appealing, and the sets convincing enough for even an older audience to stay pleasantly engaged. And the characterization of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson is truly original
