i gave 2 points are for the visual effects, the plot and setting are just childish, naive and bewildering, keep pulling me away from the story:
1. I find the portrayal of AI troops are in humanoid form quite unrealistic. Since they are AI they don't have follow the evolutionary biology... so what's the benefit being looks like a human? If it was me I wouldn't mind having extra 2 arms for me to munching on a sandwich while the other 2 typing this review.
2. how come the simulants are made with such vulnerability that can be easily put into "standby" mode by simply snap the fingers near the spinning thing on the back of the head? are the creators actually ex-konami, who have compulsory urge to put up up down down left right left right trick into every games they made?
3. when I see the suicide bomber had to literrally RUN WITH LEGS, I was like: "dude! buy a DJI alright?", does the author actually know drone is a thing now? tbh, anything else will be much better than running with legs in the context: wheels, track, rocket launcher, springs...
4. the AI suicide bomber heistated before setting off... i know the author delibrately made that trope to show that the AI has emotions and also to smear US army ... but I wonder if the author knows there is a thing called QA testing? if it is weapon, it is supposed to be tested before being deployed into the field, like, seriously, testing a weapon before using it in the field is about as common sense as, you know, humans needing to eat to survive. isn't that just basic stuff? if using a higher intelligence AI leads to heistation then well replace it with lower intelligence AI as long as it is capable of recognising enemies. lower intelligence robot is cheaper to manufacter and in the context more reliable. so why not?
5. just another AI lives matter movie... what a cliche
