This was a GREAT movie due to the fact that they didn’t stray too far from the source material. There’s a few liberties taken (color changes to characters, dialogue, etc) but there’s no detractions that ruin the experience. People want some super perfect amazing re-invention of the wheel and that’s not what this is. This is just good, old fashioned horror movie fun released for the Halloween season! If you liked the “It” films (again movies that stick to the material and stay in the same era) you will probably enjoy Salems Lot. I enjoyed so much I’m gonna watch it twice!
