This movie was Amazing!. And I know why some audience dislike it: because it is grounded in reality and these fragile snowflakes couldn't handle it. They'd rather have a movie that sugarcoats over Monroe's lifestory rather than reveal what actually might've happened. Also it's probable that rotten tomatoes (full of left leaning critics) couldn't handle Pro-Choice Abortion scenes in the movie.
Everything was on point, great. I being a man myself
i felt disgusted by those scenes Marilyn went through, and could feel her hurt and pain. That means the movie Works! They didn't go with the Happy-Cheesy Sliced off biopic like others movies. The film makers were very bold in their choices and that's what we need more of in today's manufactured garbage of a cinema.
And the cinematography, oh I'll tell you how good it was. The composition, angles and the back and forth of different aspect ratio, and color and bnw scenes. The cinematography was like..the michelin star sof cinematography . Its like "Stalker" meets "citizen Kane" meets Raging Bull".
Btw ana de armas was so amazing in this. And i respect her even more after seeing her past interviews with thick spanish accent that didsappeared in this movie because of her hours of training for
Marilyn's accent. She went from playing a hot side roles in movies to being an actual oscar contender. She gets most of Marilyn's expressions correct. Especially the lips movements
But it was too freaking long for a biopic. I think , had this came in tv show , it would've been more successful.
