For the first time in memory, the Black character in the middle ages speaks some truth. Being stuck, pigeoholed and, despite his fine accoutrement, he is still alone. It's a story of triumph over circomstances, and ultimately, of self-discovery and acceptance that has resonnance today. Worth seeing in theaters.
