Good thumbnail overview of the national drug epidemic that our country is encountering. View points from the addict, the loved ones, those working to address the war on drugs, those trafficking and profiting....and most interesting the role large corporations play in their pursuit for the almighty dollar while disregarding the science behind addiction. We enjoyed the movie and it led to good conversation afterward.

This genre of murder/mystery/suspense is my favorite. I also really like Denzel Washington as an actor. However, this film was just very flat....no twists or turn, no surprises, no moments of heightened climax, nothing keeping you truly engaged or guessing. To be honest, a let down on all levels. It would be hard for me to recommend to others.
