This is undoubtedly a great show and we will definitely be watching the next series. I've docked a star because, whilst most of the time you will find yourself completely sucked in and believing what's playing out infront of you is "real", you are occasionally yanked back into the reality of "oh it's just a TV show" when the writers / makers stretch beyond what is even remotely possible. Most commonly relating to escapes from tight spots but others instances also which i can't describe or they'd be spoilers. Overall though, great entertainment very well acted.

Oh dear. Not a patch on the first one. Poor plot, not funny and wooden acting. What a shame when the first one was such good fun.

A great bunch of actors let down by a poor plot line and poor writing. The regular extremes of first bamboozling us with an incredibly complicated plot and then having a 1 minute interlude where the key points were spelled out - sometimes with the comic clarity that would have you assume the audience were halfwits - was particularly annoying. And let's not start on the gaping holes in the plot..... I don't get so much time to watch TV so was really disappointed after investing the time in this. This fall's a long way short of other excellent BBC dramas like Line of Duty, Killing Eve or Bodyguard - Roadkill was also good entertainment. But this was frustratingly bad.
