The BEST (modern) werewolf film I've ever seen and will ever see. Dark, eerie and gothic, this film follows 2 sisters who hate life, but fantasize horror and death. On a dark, eerie night one of the sisters will get bitten by some 'thing' and from there, their whole world will flip upside down...for the worst! More considered a dark, dramatic story than horror (even tho the horror is real and very much present through the film)...it still haunts me after 18 years and will always remain as one of my all time favorite movie. This film is one of 3 films (trilogy). The sequel is a straight follow up to the 2001 film and the third film is a prequel (a long time ago tale). This trilogy made it to the 'History of the Canadian film industry' top 100 best film.
