The 1 to 3 stars reviews look like they describe a completely different movie, not Tenet.
Tenet a genius movie and if you fail to understand what really happened it doesn't mean it was really complicated, it just means this is a movie that's supposed to be understood backward, the whole story is reverted.
Only by getting to the end, you will understand the beginning.
