Eye opening. The powers that be in Alabama haven't learned a thing in the years since "To Kill a Mockingbird"; Monroeville, Alabama is the town it was written about and is the setting for this movie. In one scene the DA says to the young lawyer, "Be sure you visit the Harper Lee Museum as you leave town". I doubt this guy ever read the book, but if he did he missed the point. The story (based on an actual case) takes place in the '80's, but I'll bet little has changed in Alabama to this day.
Who are those people who gave it one star? One is obviously an Ayn Rand fan, so enough said about him (or her). That reviewer is going to re read "Atlas Shrugged" and "The Fountainhead". Both he and the books are on the wrong side of history, though history moves slowly. I hope a lot of people like that come around at some point, but I doubt that will happen.
