It was so very brave of Marcus not to tell Alex the horrible truth about their lives. He only meant well for Alex and in so doing he was also giving himself some sort of freedom by maintaining this facade.

Watched all seasons from 1 to 12 during our lockdown here in Australia. Was glued to the TV and had difficulty pulling away from it. Always looked forward to watching each episode. Linda’s character shouldn’t have been deleted though because she was a major contributor to the plot. I loved their Sunday dinners which began with a prayer. Truly a must to see tv show!
