Great movie! Went in blind (didn't look up the plot) and I was pleasantly surprised by the nuanced, funny takes on the teen pregnancy plot. I noticed some disgruntled spoilers in other reviews about how "Evangelical Christians are the enemy" in this movie. They are, so if that bugs you this isn't the movie for you. However, there are also very understanding and loving Christians too. So any reviews from that standpoint clearly didn't finish the movie and belong to the first camp of overly judgmental Christians I mentioned.
I am from Missouri and I love any film that takes place there, recognizing the local color of the midwest (fairs, stock car races, wide-open spaces) but also the downsides (oppressive Christian value system).
Overall a delightful romp, not a bad movie to pop on to lift the Covid blues.
