I am going to make this short and sweet.
Seasons 1-3 = A+
Season 4 = O.K.
Season 5 = Still featured superb acting and still loved the images of NYC in early '60s... but, overall, it left me sad. Midge turned into the kind of star I don't really care for. Her fame seemed more important than anything --- or anyone.
Instead of laughing or cheering at the end, I just felt sad.
Glad I watched it. But disappointed in Season 5.

Enjoyed the first third of the movie, but then it went off the rails and took a disturbing, twisted turn that left me cringing and feeling sorry for everyone involved.
As the film ended and the screen went dark, my wife looked at me and said, "Well.... there was two hours I'll never get back."
Exactly!!!!
