Extremely addictive and thoughtful. It is one of the best specimen to formulate the idea of a dystopian society. The way in which protagonist transitions to be rebellious is effortless and smooth.

I generally find kafka's works as very surreal. There is nothing unique about this book and that is unique ...you'll find the sufferings of a person who keeps his family before himself still could never achieve their full confidence. The metamorphosis does not only depicts the physical transformation, it has also been used metaphorically ( change in the family from unloving and unstable to a loving and stable one). It highlights theories lies existentialism and humanism throughout and various dilemmas,that protagonist faces at each moment, related to them.

I don't agree with all its philosophies however most of them if seen broadly is the reality of life. I loved the way prophet answered every question with so much generosity for other (very rare in today's time and also extremely difficult to follow). Still does not align with today's time.

Liked the philosophical approach that author has tried to bring in. Over all it is simply and sweetly written.

A good book indeed. Quite confusing as sometimes it's difficult to counter the exact location ,author is talking about .But if your visualization skills are good no problem.

I love the book.Throughout the novel you will feel like the character is holding it's spirit. And you can feel the strength and powerlessness at the same time.
