As I sit here and contemplate the movie I think, "overall it was a good movie." I also was equally as much disappointed. The movie faithfully and accurately portrayed many of the locations from the games perfectly. Ex: RPD, orphanage, Spencer Mansion, Diner, Stars office were all spot on. For a low budget movie they did well with the environments, rooms, and buildings. Many disappointments: they took RE1, RE2 and RE2 remake threw it all in a blender and that was the plot of the movie. The only character that stayed true to the original was Claire. Also Chris to a small extent. The Stars team only had: Wesker, Chris, Jill, Richard, and Brad Vickers. That's only 5 out of 12-13 members, No Barry Burton, No Bravo team whatsoever even though they were mentioned in the movie. Enricho was demoted to a regular patrol officer and had 3 minutes of screen time. I know I'm giving away a lot of spoilers here I just wish we could have gotten more stars members and more dialog between them. Overall it is worth watching if you love the RE games, the acting from Kaya Scodelario (Claire) Robbie Amell (Chris) Tom Hopper (Wesker) Neal McDonough (Birkin) Donal Logue (Chief Irons) Josh Cruddas (Ben Bertolucci) Stood out the most. All the actors were great but once again everything was so mix-matched and none of the actors personalities were like there charters in the games the only one that was close is Claire.
