It was ok if you dont care or know anything about science. For me I like my sci-fi movies to atleast have some accurate science that nestles itself into the plot. But they avoided explaining what exactly happened to the planet and just kept it pretty vague. And you're just left with this question of what exactly happened to earth, preventing you from tagging along with the ride. "the planet has a toxic atmosphere, maybe because of humans" dont ask why "no oxygen either", again dont ask why for some reason. "Oh and it's only toxic at lower altitudes" because that makes sense. And for people saying this brings to light global warming, I ask how? Clearly somthing else happened. But other than that, not a bad movie, just void of scientific reason that tries to act smart. Get past that, and you'll be ok with it.
