I am trying to come up with some nice words for The Acolyte but cant as the show is simply awful. Very poor story, very poor writing and extremely poor D grade acting. The lead male character (Sol) played by Lee Jung-jae is weak, insipid and he was a terrible pick for the part but he fitted in well with an terrible weak insipid show. Disney has one strength of late and that is every show they seem to touch or make turns out terrible and a failure, but at least they are consistent in failing. Overall I would struggle to rate this a Z grade show.

This show is terrible. It is simply not believable that Queen Latifa is capable of doing the things she does on the show. This whole woman power woke stuff is getting really old and boring. Stop trying to make women into men. The show has terrible casting very poor writing and even worse acting, the acting is so BAD. Looks like CBS is trying to tick all the PC boxes and they have failed miserably. My take after trying to watch a couple of episodes is this show is total rubbish and way way way to WOKE and dont waste your time
