It’s just a bad game. Very similar to the first one except missing a co op zombie game mode which was good practice and good fun. Luckily if you enjoyed the first one you’ll be happy to know the tutorial is the very same from the first game. They finally updated to crossplay with friends 3 years later. You still can’t 1v1 them though. Only 1v1 vs random no lifers. Great for a few games if you can get it for free, but it quickly loses any allure. Also there are horses in the game that you personally will never ride despite their “update”. EDIT: just tried to play with a friend and it was impossible even though we were both on ps4. I also own the game on PC

The game constantly has bug fixes that’s say: minor bug fixes (how about an update that does something). Things you can do in the campaign are fun yet unattainable in multiplayer. It is a very bad game on console and is overpriced for the amount of tracks and cars in the game. I’d increase my score if they made multiplayer less janky, (possible cross play), and if they reduced the price of this game. It should only cost 10-15 dollars for the lack of content and lack of multiplayer freedom. Edit: if you don’t want to play the game with friends, yeah sure it’s pretty cool
