This movie can be taken from 2 different contexts. As a fan of the book it misses so many elements that it becomes annoying. Certain characters are removes or ba k stories are completely rewritten for no disernable reason. As a kids/preteen movie it misses it's mark also. Artemis is a genius but goes to school with peers that he doesn't get along with. Really not usefull and could have been skipped. They litterally took tge dormula from spykids and used it for this. Fail. That bring said visual effects, CHI, and action scenes were really good for the type of movie. Lucky I watched on Disney Plus and not paid to go see.
