Social (identity) politics doesn't have a place in these movies. Brie doesn't realize that "40 year old dudes" are the main audience for comics. Factually, we (40 year old dudes) have been seeded as a fan base from childhood, so YES she very much should care what we (40 year old dudes) think. We (40 year old dudes) were exactly who it was made for. All comic book movies count on this ready made fan base. Shame on her and especially disney. That's right, no longer deserves to be a proper noun. #FBL
