I rarely write reviews, but I feel like I need to apologise to the film for judging it by its cover. I never thought I'd watch it, until a year later when I decided to give its rather unimpressive cover a chance. Everything about this film is engaging, and even some elements like side characters and the dragon herself were iffy at first, but they turned out to be very enjoyable and satisfying despite their first impressions. The ending especially is tense, emotional and rewarding, with a nicely balanced sense of culture and character design to boot. Something I didn't think I'd like, but now I say it's something that deserved more hype. A super meaningful watch.
