Let me say I have always been a big fan of Tyler Perry movies. But this one seemed a little off somehow. It was still a good movie but there was alot of plot holes throughout. First we have Megan Good of course she is the main character she is a great actress..but why didn't they show a point where thier marriage went down south? And take the body out the casket?? Isn't that illegal ?? And the first time Dallas showed up at Ava job..nobody called the cops? Where was security at if it was a bank??? The people looked like they were just going about thier day.. it was kinda awkward with the whole Benji and ava thing. It didn't seem like she was into him tbh. 😕 then the mom getting grabbed at the store ? Like really again nobody didn't call the cops and catch that on surveillance for proof for the cops to show?? The dad part got me so scared I couldn't watch tbh but you know what I can see that really happening to somebody in real life. I don't like that the whole story was dragged for 2 whole hours. 😒 and at the end like what happened after he dallas died? Did the family get revenge? Overall it was full of drama but wish it was just better writing and gave us more to the story. 4/5 stars 🌟

So I'm giving this moving 2 stars because the acting was pretty good and the start of the movie was getting good ......until closer to the end. My first thought in the beginning of the movie is why isn't the dad coming in to face the mom ? Okay then in the middle of the movie when the mom was being really mean to Elias..was it still the real mom doing all that? I kinda caught on why the other brother wasn't be seen or heard from anyone like the mom or cops. Then the mom skin peeling off and turning into this demon monster ? Like what was the whole point of that?. Then the barn scene.... I didn't understand what I was looking at ? Supposed Elias killed his brother Lukas in a gun accident and shot him. Scene of mom holding his brother in the barn. But why was Lukas trying to tell his brother that it wasn't there mom and she is an imposter ? At the end of the movie I was waiting for the cops to come back like they said they would but never came ......? I was very confused 🤔 wish they explained more in detail because this could have been a very good movie

This movie was quite different than any other typical romance I ever seen. The idea of Addie just wants someone to be there for her at night made sense to me. The movie continues with two of them slowly falling in love. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star rating was because the ending kinda threw me off. I don't like the fact that the son didn't like Louis..like why? Aren't you happy for your mother. Also, I didn't like how Addie choose to move out of her house to stay with her son and grandson!! Like seriously? What is a 79 year old lady gonna do with a kid ? She is passed all that and should be traveling the world with Louis. Grandmother should take thier place as Grandmother's not mother's. The son obviously isn't a fit parent but addie should have said no.
