Not a COD fan. Skewed Battlefield fanboy. Just a gamer with expectations. 🟨 6/10 (Free Gift) I’m not here to argue Battlefield vs COD. I don’t even like COD. This is for the true gamers — the ones who played Battlefield for teamwork, for role-based classes, for actual objective play. And I hate to say it... but that spirit? It’s gone. I played the beta and thought, “There’s promise here.” The promise? Broken. The full game feels like the beta just got a slightly nicer jacket and a $70 price tag. Sure, the mid-sized maps are okay, and the gunplay is fine, but everything else feels flat and forgettable. Teamwork is basically dead. Watch TikTok clips and you’ll see what I mean — nobody handles tanks properly, nobody plays objectives, and the medic class is treated like an optional flavor instead of a backbone. Everyone’s chasing metas instead of actual squad play. The new generation doesn’t squad, they solo with vibes. It’s not Battlefield anymore. It’s just "Generic War Game #37" with a BF sticker on it. And while I hate to say it… last year’s COD Zombies was more captivating than this. That’s coming from someone who actively avoids COD. But at least it had something new going on. This? Just safe, bland, and coasting on the name. If EA remade BF4, it would obliterate this game. No contest. Would I have bought this? Absolutely not. Only reason I own it is because my friend got it for my birthday. At best, this is a $40 game, and that’s if you play with friends. Solo? You’ll be uninstalling by the weekend. Honestly, after this one… I think I’m retiring from online FPS games. I’ll hop on with my buddy here and there, but when I’m solo? I’m back to SnowRunner — and yes, even Digimon sounds more appealing than another round of “Run to the Objective Alone and Die.” ✅ Can be fun with friends ❌ No real teamwork anymore ❌ Medic class is ignored ❌ Everyone’s playing for TikTok clips, not wins ❌ Mid-game feels like a beta patch ❌ If this is the future of FPS… count me out Final verdict: Not trash, just painfully average. A full-priced nostalgia trap. The Battlefield name deserves better — and so do we.

However, with the Marvel brand’s broad appeal, it’s worth noting that a significant number of younger players are joining the game. This has led to some interesting trends—like nearly every match featuring multiple Spider-Men! While this adds a unique dynamic, it also highlights the need for adjustments to accommodate the diverse player demographics. Overall, I’m optimistic about the game’s future and look forward to seeing how it evolves.

Overall experience is 3/10 immersion breaking bugs and glitches had me rage uninstall after back-to-back glitches and a day yesterday riddled with unwanted and continuous bugs. It’s disappointing when a game doesn’t live up to its sale price.
