This game is, frankly, amazing. I won't lie to you, if third person shooters aren't your thing, you won't like it. However, this game feels so smooth to play.
Roster wise, it has a nice mix of well known and lesser known characters, and each one plays uniquely from the others.
Balance wise, this is probably the most balanced game I've played. Each character is super strong and capable of carrying the team and pulling off some really impressive stuff - it just comes down to your ability to master the character. It's not like other games where there are overpowered characters and weak as heck characters (*cough* Overwatch *cough*), nah,, here it's down to user error.
Art style wise, it's a really pretty game. I will admit I'm not a fan of all of the designs, but it's overall a really nice looking game.
It's also really player-friendly. It does have microtransactions with a battle pass and cosmetic shop. However, the battle pass works far differently from games like Fortnite or Overwatch. When you buy a battle pass, it's yours to finish whenever you feel like it. And the cherry on top? Cheapest battle pass I've seen, at just $5. Their currency for the battle passes is called Lattices, and after the initial purchase, you get 300 lattices in return. Now, this isn't enough to purchase the next battle pass, but it does give you a discount on the next one. And, if you just fully purchase the next battle pass, you essentially get a free battle pass every two seasons. And, if you choose to not save it, it's a one time purchase of $5, and then $2 after that.
I honestly can't even think of much to say negatively against it, apart from some of the characters being quite the learning curve. I mean, I could say something about the players, but that wouldn't be the game's fault, plus I've yet to run into any toxic players. Give it time, though, give it time.
So, I can't recommend this enough. If you like 3rd person shooters, it's really fun.
