I guess it is probably a good way to get teens interested in a historical figure. However, as a 54 year old adult, I couldnโt get past the anti-historical music nor language. โI was really psyched about itโ spoken by Emilyโs brother. Iโm not even sure that โpsychedโ was used when I was a teenager. But, certainly not in the 1800s. Portray life and music as it was then. The movie Little Women was very successful and portrayed life as it was in the late 1800s. The movie Titanic had young Rose โflipping the birdโ at someone. That gesture was not commonly used in the early 1900s by anyone much less by young women. That movie lost me for that and other reasons.
Itโs fine to make movies or seriesโ like this, but please do not attach real historical figures to them. They are not accurate.
