Got a powerhouse at bat, a fastball down-the-middle, and perfect timing? Doesn't matterโit's a fly ball. Did you throw in the strike zone? Ball. Did your opponent throw outside? Strike. The hitting and umpire calls in this game are completely broken.
If you look at posts from the community, you'll see a ton of complaints. I wish I would've done that myself and saved $60. This is genuinely one of the worst games I have ever played.
Grab an old copy of 2K5 and go back to a time where MLB games weren't broken.

I hate to give an unfavourable review, but this game is just so bland. I was very excited to see it ported to the Switch; I grew up playing the original and it's still one of my favourite games to this day. However, this sequel was a poor attempt at creating a series out of one of Nintendo's most iconic releases.
I will likely not be purchasing 3. This was a waste of my money.

I was skeptical of this game when it came out. I wasn't sure how Ichiban was gonna stack up against Kiryu, and I don't typically like turn-based combat. Well, not only do I love Ichi, but this game is so fun to play!
