I'm two chapters in and feeling disappointed. Life long fan of King ( no other author creates characters like him, in my opinion, they've always felt like friends to me. ) The COVID, mask and Trump comments are already bothering me. Came to this review page to see what other people, who had read the whole book, were saying. Was hoping it would settle down as the story unfolded, sounds like it doesn't. Not sure I'll bother trying to trudge thru it. If I wanted to read a political non fiction book on the COVID, mask, Trump era, that would be one thing. I read King to escape, not be preached too.
