Women are satisfyingly represented in this show. I can't count the number of times I recognized myself in their behavior, thoughts and reflexes. I loved how she didn't over-explain things, like Jen's self-critical gaze in the mirror. We've all been there. We all know what's happening there. I loved the "no she didn't " moments, this real portayal of humanity; deeply flawed humans all doing their best in their own ways, all very wrong and innocent at the same time. I also loved how real the men were in this show, vulnerable, humans who just happen to be male. She did a great job directing this! The acting is incredible.
