Even knowing it is make belief, couldn't stop ourselves from being immersed in the visual spectacle that was unfolding on the screen.
The Grandeur, the beauty and the majesty of it will stay on with us forever. The music and the background score showcases yet another aspect of the genius i.e. Mr. M.M.Keeravani.
The story is set in a time of struggle and oppression in India. It showcases their pain, tears, helplessness and the horrifying experiences the people had at the hands of an oppressive, immoral and unethical empire.
He elivated the spirit of fighting for the most basic God given right, freedom. The Courage of conviction the characters portray in their beliefs and being steadfast to their goals come what may is something else.
In essence, it is an action movie where every action scene delivers a punch of emotion that rivals the one from Mohammad Ali. The stunt choreography tells you where and why Rajamouli succeeds in getting maximum explosive reactions by taking a simple enough story.
The actors have delivered their till date career best performances. RC shows that volcano kind of stature brilliantly and Jr.NTR as the innocent yet stubborn Bheem did it so effortlessly. In Ramayan, Hanuman gives Ram's ring to Sita and gives Place to them. In kalyug, Hanuman gives sita's token to Ram and delivers him to Sita as promised. The subtle parallels with mythology were a good mix.
Kudos to Mr. S.S.Rajamouli and his excellent cast and crew for delivering a simple story with such grandiose, extraordinary screenplay, clever editing and vibrant colours that they transformed an out and out commercial movie into a classic.
