Billy Appling

Love this book, it was very authentically black and magical. Which is refreshing from my normal reads of sci-fi novels. It lends a different perspective on the magical communities that we typically read or watch which like most things are white washed and devoid of African and African American culture. Can’t wait for the sequel.
